2007 BMW 3 SERIES
Just today BMW released the NEW 2007 3 Series Coupes pricing. The all-new 3 Series Coupes are slated to hit US showrooms sometime in September with a starting MSRP of $35 995 including destination and handling.
Pricing for models is as follows:
- 2007 BMW 328i Coupe $35 995
- 2007 BMW 328xi Coupe $37 795
- 2007 BMW 335i Coupe $41 295
Options and standard features aplenty for all trims of the 3 Series. As with every new car brought to you by BMW there are significant enhancements that will show through on the cars. It can be seen that the base prices have increased but so have the additional features. The 2007 version of the 328i also has a new bundle of joyous toys awaiting its next owner. The entry-level 2007 328i Coupe actually offers better performance and safety then the top-of-the-line 2006 330Ci Coupe but for $2 500 less. Some of the newly added additional equipment includes:
- 17 wheels and tires
- 6-speed manual transmission
These enhancements for the 2007 BMW 328i and 2007 BMW 335i include:
- More powerful engines (230 and 300 hp vs. 184 and 225)
- More differentiated styling from the sedan
- Xenon adaptive headlights with cornering lights standard
- Rear side head protection system (airbag curtain)
- Enhanced DSC benefits (including brake drying brake stand-by brake fade compensation and start-off assistant)
- Enhanced interior ambiance lighting
- Run-flat tires with Tire Pressure Monitor
Personally I love these small cars but being a male that stands 6 4 I do not fit well in them and will more then likely never own one. To those of you under six foot I urge you to take a look at the new BMW 3 Series if just to go for a test drive. Go see a dealer and get it out and give it a go and then set that as the bar to which all the cars you are really shopping for are compared to.
