Chevrolet Corvette Recall
It s a hard thing to take when you hear there is a recall on a car model you own. Corvette owners are feeling this right now as a recall was issued for 2005-2006 Chevrolet Corvettes on May 24 2006. The models effected are those Corvettes models with painted roofs and do not include all body styles but is estimated at 30 000 vehicles being effected.
It was reported by the Detroit News that the adhesive between the roof panel and magnesium frame may separate from the vehicle. As stated this does not happen with all models and if you happen to be one of those lucky owners of a 2005 or 2006 Corvette I would suggest you take it to your local dealership just in case.
Since the C6 came out in 2005 there have only been 3 recalls to affect the car.

If you didnt know now you know. For those Corvette owners and all car owners take some time and check http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/ for recalls on your vehicles. Be proactive and see if anything on your vehicle has been recalled and get it in to a dealership near you.
